Welcome to Lightbulb. These Terms govern your use of our platform, including all related tools and services. By accessing or using Lightbulb, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Lightbulb, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part, you may not use our services.
The Service
Lightbulb is a platform that helps users generate brand identities, websites, content, and launch plans from a single idea. The platform is provided as-is and we may update, change, or remove features at any time to improve the product.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Sharing accounts, reselling access, or creating accounts through automated means is not permitted.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Lightbulb to create content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, defamatory, infringing, or designed to deceive. You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or extract source data from the platform. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Subscription and Payment
Lightbulb operates on a paid subscription model. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Intellectual Property
Your content. You own the brands, ideas, business names, websites, and content you generate using Lightbulb. We do not claim ownership of your output.
Our platform. Lightbulb, including the software, design system, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Lightbulb Technologies Inc. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose.
Generated output. Brand names, logos, and content generated by Lightbulb may resemble existing trademarks or copyrighted works. You are responsible for conducting your own trademark, domain, and legal availability checks before commercial use.
Data and Privacy
We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We use it to operate, improve, and personalize the service. We do not sell your personal information.
AI-Generated Content
Lightbulb uses AI to generate brand assets and content. AI output can occasionally be inaccurate, biased, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything generated before using it commercially. Lightbulb is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated output.
Third-Party Services
Lightbulb may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third party. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
Termination
You may stop using Lightbulb and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, or fail to pay applicable fees. On termination, your right to use the service ends, but provisions that should reasonably survive (IP, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Lightbulb is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated output will meet your specific needs. Lightbulb does not provide legal, financial, or business advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightbulb Technologies Inc., its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the product. Continued use of Lightbulb after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
